Tom Bonhaus was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Vanderbilt University on a football scholarship. He received bachelor’s degrees in economics and human /organizational development. Upon graduation, he entered the insurance business as a territorial marketing underwriter for Amerisure Insurance Company in Cincinnati, Ohio where he managed 99 agencies in Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

Tom joined Pritchett-Moore Inc. in 1995 as an agent specializing in commercial, personal, and life insurance coverage.

He received the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1997 and the CPCU® (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation in 1999.

He is active in the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents association, serving as the chairman of the Young Agents Committee in 2002 and was awarded Young Agent of the Year in 2003.

Tom is married to the former Beth Wooten of Winter Park, Florida and they have four children, Elizabeth, Caroline, Megan and Lucy.
